This app was born from a real emergency.

It was 2 in the morning in Panama City, Panama. My husband collapsed. We had just moved to Panama. I didn't speak Spanish. I didn't know how to call for help.

He'd had a heart attack before. But I couldn't tell them his medical history.

Scared and alone in a foreign country — unable to communicate, unable to get him the help he needed. That moment changed everything.

We built VIVA so no one else ever has to face that.
